The Flowers of Thirst  is a fine crafted book of poetry. "Love is a powerful  basic  human  need," says Mr. Gill.  And  because  both  poetry  and  love  are universally of interest, this collection ought to find world wide readers, he adds.

In going through his work,  I  find  he  is  right.  Phrases  such as, "love is a moon sight of..." shows  Mr. Gill  is  adequately  handling  the elements  of  rhymes  and  meaning,  and makes good use of both.  Further,  "What a mystery, what a surprise, we do not meet, yet never apart,"  bring to us the vision  of  what  we  could  like  to  call "poetic language"  which is so absent in much of contemporary poetry. Congratulations, Stephen.
